Desert Archers Inc.

Results: 2023 ABFAA State Field Championship (November 11th)

The Desert Archers club is primarily a 3D archery club open to traditional and compound archers of all levels of proficiency; both hunters and non-hunters, all ages of men, women and children.

As a club, our objective is to strengthen the spirit of archery through fellowship, competition, and ethical hunting. Anyone new to the club will find the club is full of “good people” who are always willing to share a technique or two.

We DO NOT offer archery lessons or rent archery equipment, but can point you in the right direction (STX Sniper or Robinson Archery - see our links or local ranges pages for details).

We utilize the Tucson Mountain Park Archery Range to host several 3D shoots per year (see schedule below).

The Tucson Mountain Park Archery Range is OWNED AND OPERATED BY PIMA COUNTY.

The range is located off Kinney Road near Old Tucson. The archery range is open 7 days a week, sunrise to sunset. Besides the sporting elements of archery, many archers cherish the peace and beauty of the unspoiled desert setting and the surrounding hills at the Tucson Mountain Park.

Archery is an ideal family sport. It offers a wonderful family experience for a minimal daily facility fee of $3.00 per adult or an individual annual range pass ($25.00).

Youth 16 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

The daily $3 fee is on the honor system (self-pay station). Fines will be assessed by Pima County to those who do not pay or own an annual pass.

(Self-Pay Station Located at the Range Near the Restrooms)

Each spring we host the 2nd Leg of the Arizona 3D Championship Series at the Triangle T Guest Ranch in Dragoon, Arizona. The "Rumble in the Rocks" event draws the state’s best archers as well as those who enjoy shooting non-competitive 3D archery (known and unknown yardage classes). See our 3D Series or 2nd Leg pages for additional information.
